Solution for Multi-Card Reader Unknown Device Error in Windows 7

Tried many methods but none worked, Unknown Device Identifier didn’t work either

Finally disabled two USB drivers of unknown purpose, and it finally worked

Solution:

Right-click My Computer, Properties — Device Manager — Universal Serial Bus controllers (the one with many USB drivers) disable Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller

If the name isn’t exactly the same, find one with a similar name. Don’t uninstall, as it will auto-install again. Just disable it, so you can restore it later if it affects other things.
