Recovering Broadband Username and Password from Router

I forgot the broadband username and password saved on the router. Calling the ISP required bringing ID to their office.

The router’s security configuration was high, so normal methods to retrieve the password didn’t work.

Finally, I set up a simulated PPPOE server based on RASPPPOE, connected the network card directly to the WAN port, and successfully captured the packets using Cain’s sniffer function.
