Using Pidgin to Login Xiaonei (Renren) on Linux

Add account:

1. Protocol: Select XMPP

2. Username: Add the number string at the end of your Xiaonei homepage address http://xiaonei.com/getuser.do?id= XXXXXXXXX

3. Domain: Add talk.xiaonei.com

4. Resource name: Leave it alone

5. Password: Add your own Xiaonei password

6. Local alias: You can write whatever you want

7. Finally switch to “Advanced” tab, fill “Connect Server” with: talk.xiaonei.com

That’s it, setup complete, login successful, you can now use pidgin on Linux.
