8024402F Windows7 Update Cannot Update: Solution

Click “Start” - “Control Panel” - “Network and Sharing Center” in sequence.
Click “Change adapter settings” in the left navigation bar.
Right-click on the current network connection (Local Area Connection or Broadband Connection), and select “Properties”.
Select “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)”, then click “Properties”.
In the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties window, select “Use the following DNS server addresses” for manual configuration.
Enter 4.2.2.1 in the Preferred DNS server field, and 4.2.2.2 in the Alternate DNS server field.
After completing the settings, reconnect to the Internet, try updating again, and check if the update succeeds.
